New crab-vessel technology enters the Russian market

Nautic Rus (member of Knarr Maritime Consortium) has signed a contract for delivery of new crab vessels for Primcrab Ltd. The event took place in Vladivostok where our colleagues were given a warm welcome.

Primcrab Ltd is part of Russian Fishery, commercial fishing enterprise, established in 2011 by a group of Russian private investors, aiming to consolidate fishing assets in different regions of Russia. Today Russian Fishery includes some other large fishing companies apart from Primbcrab Ltd: TURNIF OJSC, INTRAROS CJSC, Vostokrybprom LLC, Sovgavanryba LLC. The primary fishing target species are Alaska Pollock and Pacific Herring. The Company also catches laemonema and crab.

According to the contract, Nautic Rus will deliver 10 crab vessels in two different forms. The crab-vessel design by Nautic is considered to be very promising as the main technical features are aimed at providing high safety standards and the endurance of the vessel in rough seas.

Knarr Team is excited to announce that the new era of crab vessels is coming and we will soon see new technologies in action!
